Relics unlock lasting features
Relics permanently unlock new features and mechanics. They are part of Warhammer Survivors’ progression beyond a single run. Exploring stages is also a way to find character unlocks.
That makes a relic a different kind of target from an upgrade chosen while levelling up. For a worked character example in the October demo, follow the Kozlowski rescue and purchase steps.
Tarot and Arcana change your build
The announced Arcanum cards grant abilities that alter stats. The developer also names Emperor’s Tarot and Celestial Arcana when discussing combinations for high-power challenges. Each Warhammer universe has its own characters, weapons, stages, passives and progression systems.
Think of these systems alongside your character and weapons when planning a build. This is an overview of their announced roles, rather than a full card list or a route to unlock every relic.
Narrow the level-up choices
The developer has confirmed a feature that turns off weapons and equipment from appearing in the level-up screen. Its purpose is to narrow the available choices when you want to focus a loadout.
This concerns which equipment can be offered, rather than replacing a weapon’s visual appearance. The announcement does not give a menu path or unlock requirement, so it should not be treated as a step-by-step demo setting.
Plan the next part of your loadout
- Use the weapon evolution table to match a base weapon with a supporting passive.
- Check status effects and Nuln Oil synergy when combining damage and control effects.
- Read the squad system to understand how weapon Keywords affect allies.
